Buy online now, less than 5 liters ships same day or next day! D8 Distillate is a rising commodity in today’s hemp landscape. Its newly discovered health benefits and legalization have led to a surge in purchases.

Our D8 distillate is refined from extracted hemp oil into the form of distillate fraction. We isolate cannabinoids into separate fractions from the plant terpenes, flavonoids, and any other less desirable residuals such as chlorophyll and lipids. The resulting oil is clear to medium amber in color and does not crystalize. It has thick and sticky viscosity, has almost no taste or aroma, is very consistent, solvent-free and fully decarboxylated.

CBD Range 80-90%
THC Range 0.3% or less
Decarbed yes
Full Spectrum No, Delta 8 is an isolate
Color clear to medium amber

Appearance thick semi-solid oil
Consistency thick and sticky
Contains terpenes no, terpenes can be added for a customized profile*
Clean and Free of Cutting Agents From additives to flavorings consumers are paying attention to what goes into their favorite products. Our D8 Distillate uses no cutting agents or dilutants such as vitamin E acetate. The result is a pure and effective full spectrum oil your brand can be proud of.

* Terpenes are separated during the extraction and refinement process and added back into the distillate to more accurately reflect their profile as in nature. Therefore, terpene profiles are customizable.

D8 Distillate is a clear, sticky, honey like substance when hot. These characteristics combined with state changes make distillate hard to handle when you need to use it constantly.

Storage Instructions Store in a cool place. Protect from light. Shelf life is 12 months unopened. D8 Distillate should be stored in something that can be heated up such as glass or stainless steel. NOT aluminum or plastic because it will leach into the oil when heated making it unsafe for consumption.
VB Labs sells D8 Distillate one liter containers are stainless steel, removing this potential headache.

Formulating Instructions Heat up distillate and mix thoroughly before putting it in products or food. If you are at home, filling a crock-pot with water and letting the distillate sit for 15-20 minutes is sufficient. Hot water baths are the preferred way to heat up distillate without damaging cannabinoids.

Be weary of using a heat gun! Heat guns can reach temperatures over 500 degrees Celsius. D8’s boiling point is around 383.5°C so these temperatures will damage your cannabinoids. Heat guns are convenient when dealing with distillate but be careful to not heat one area too much. Use sweeping motions and distance.

Lab Analysis Heat and liquify oil prior to testing. Sampling oil in a semi-solid/crystallized state will not result in accurate analysis.

COAs see our COA database to see a typical lab analysis report.

Full Spectrum vs Isolate Full-spectrum cannabinoid-rich hemp oil is much more effective than a pure cannabidiol isolate due to synergistic properties of the other cannabinoid compounds and terpenes contained in full-spectrum hemp oil. Cannabinoid rich hemp oil is truly a case of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts.
